It’s natural for dates or prospective partners to have questions about herpes. At some point, we’ve ALL been there.
But it’s important to set boundaries on what is necessary to share, and what is further stigmatizing.
Even on this platform, I am asked some pretty intimate questions about my experience. Some I feel comfortable answering, while others I hold a firm boundary on.
You are not a science project or study participant in this person’s dating life. You are a person, who happens to have an infection that is transmitted via s-x.
