The Uncertain Future of STI Care: Balancing Worry with Moments of Hope

I am not going to sugarcoat it: I’m worried about what STI care will look like in the future.

I don’t have answers for you right now, but I DO want to be honest about the impact this will have on STIs (and beyond).

Some GOOD news, is that the high rates of STIs may be stabilizing per the latest @cdcgov data (I’ll get into that in another post soon!)

But despite that, I’m worried we’ll take one step forward and ten steps back— in so many areas.

I know many of us are experiencing the doom and gloom as of late, and I want to try to create a space where I am sharing small moments of joy in addition to my usual content—because we could all use that reminder when hope feels distant.

I hope you all do something small for yourselves this weekend 🫶🏻✨
