Verbal Prompts for Communicating Sexual Desires with Your Partner

Show & Tell ❤️‍🔥

My previous post ~touches~ on four physical ways to communicate sexual desires with your partner. This post offers four verbal or texting prompts that you can utilize when communicating your sexual desires with your partners:

1. “It feels good when you…” - despite our body language, sounds, and facial expressions, no one is going to know the best way to touch us unless we share our feelings about the experience and their touch.

2. “Can you grab more lube?” - and if you’re feeling extra fancy, have options! Silicone, water based, aloe, etc.! Some people may have allergies or prefer certain types of lubricants over others, so options are welcome. Also something to keep in mind when determining lubricants’ compatibility with certain toy materials, too.

3. “Try a/an [circular, up-down, side-to-side motion]. Can you tell they’re trying, but they’re just not quite getting you there? Try this!

4. “If you open that drawer you’ll find my favorite toy. I’d love it if you…]. This opens the opportunity to bring toys into the bedroom between partners. It should be noted that some toys may require more discussion on use and boundaries, however, this is meant as a general prompt.

Bookmark this for when you’re searching for the words to share your desires with your partner, but aren’t quite sure how to communicate them effectively or efficiently.
