Navigating Herpes Disclosure: Empowering Responses to Rejection

It’s been a while since I shared templates on this page. Following the theme of rejection, I recently shared some reasons someone might reject a partner with herpes.

Previously, I received feedback that the responses to such disclosures were “too good to be true.” For that reason, I tried to share reactions that were less than ideal here. Because of that, some of the partner replies in these templates may be triggering for some.

A response for every mood. Whether you want to feel...
⚡️empowered
⚡️like you rejected them first
⚡️like a badass
⚡️like even more of a badass
⚡️sassy
⚡️like you’re taking one small step toward resolving STI stigma

Needless to say, but these responses may vary for a number of reasons, which is why these are loose templates providing an example of directions to take. I hope that you find these useful.
